Why choose to travel to us?

Choosing where to have Joint Replacement Surgery
Patients often explore different global options for joint replacement surgery (see indicative table below). Key considerations typically include cost, expertise, access, English language fluency, and overall care experience.

What This Means For You
-
Costs vary greatly across regions
-
Expertise and ease of access to doctor before and after surgery are critical factors
-
Not all centres focus on complex, robotic, partial or revision replacements
Which Option is Right For You?
Consider local treatment if
-
Cost not a concern
-
Wait time acceptable
-
Straightforward case
Consider travelling if
-
Cost difference matters
-
Wait time is not acceptable
-
Ease of access needed

Consider a specialist centre if
-
Your initial surgery has not been successful and remains painful
-
Condition is complex
-
Specialist solutions - robotic, bilateral, partial replacements and revisions, muscle-sparing hip replacements - not available or costly
Many patients seeking evaluation for complex or previously operated cases
benefit from a structured second opinion before proceeding with further treatment
